So this morning when I when I tried to start my pc from sleep mode, I noticed the monitor (Dell SE2219HX) wasn't working for reasons unknown but everything else was working just fine.
The blinking white light on the display button wasn't there and the monitor was unresponsive. So switching off the power cable, I removed all the cords connected to the monitor and then reconnected and after powering up, it started working as usual.
But now, I can't connect to the internet. When I try to troubleshoot the problem the picture below shows up.
Windows can't communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server)
Security or firewall settings might be blocking the connection.
Naturally, I watched some videos regarding this, but none of them seems to work for me.
My wi-fi is working fine as I could connect to it through other devices. I don't have any third party antivirus installed in my computer.
I have tried turning the firewall off and on.
Tried powering off and restarting my router.
Tried removing and plugging the cable which is connected to the computer from the router.
Tried connecting through an android and then an ethernet cable via a laptop.
So far nothing worked. HEEEEELP!!

Making routine backup images of your partitions/drives...using 3d-party software...is probably the most important activity that any user can engage in.

Under Configure of the properties of the network adapter, then the Power management, is the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" enabled. If so then uncheck.

Ok, First of all, many thanks for replying.
I have tried every 6 solutions written here (//appuals.com/fix-windows-cant-communicate-device-resource-primary-dns-server/) as suggested by @hamluis and also unchecked the "Allow the computer to turn this device off to save power" as suggested by @0lds0d.
But it still ain't working unfortunately.
Though when I tried all these, after restarting the pc, the network button on the right side panel of the taskbar would show that I am connected for a little amount of time. If I hovered my mouse over that it would say 'internet access' but after some seconds it would go away again and 'no internet access' is shown.
I'm going crazy over this. If you guys have any other suggestions, plz let me know.

Please follow THIS TUTORIAL so we can better help you.
Then Please Report the current driver installed and the Hardware ID with these directions.
Windows 10 Network
- Right Click on the Start Menu and Choose Device Manager from the list.
- Expand Network Adapters and Right Click the Device you want.
- Right Click on the Device and Select Properties
- Details Tab
- Under the Property Dropdown choose Hardware Ids, Right Click on the Entry and Copy and paste back here or do a google search.
If I don't reply right away it's because I'm waiting for Windows 10 to Update.

Good work, that is always the first go to that honestly I'd forgotten to suggest.
