Hochzeiger 2.5 (Rotmoosbahn)

Mit der Errichtung der nagelneuen Achtersesselbahn "Hochzeiger 2.5" aus dem Hause Doppelmayr investieren die Hochzeiger Bergbahnen in noch mehr Funktionalität, Komfort und Sicherheit. Sie ersetzt die 32 Jahre alte Rotmoosbahn und verläuft nur leicht versetzt. Die neue topmoderne Achtersesselbahn "Hochzeiger 2.5" verfügt über Wetterschutzhauben, beheizte Komfortsitze sowie verriegelte Schließbügel und die Trassenführung verläuft spektakulär in Richtung Hochzeiger Gipfel. In nur 4:46 Minuten Fahrzeit erreicht man die Bergstation auf knapp 2.500 Metern. Am höchsten erreichbaren Punkt des Hochzeiger Skigebiets bietet sich ein eindrucksvoller Ausblick auf das Skigebiet und von hier aus können mehr als 80% der Pisten im Skigebiet erreicht werden.

• Really cool place for skiing with reasonable prices. skiing and snowboarding infrastructure is organized on high level: from parking to skiing. A lot of snow, slopes are well prepared, good marked...

• Nice ski Arena. At First (we are starters) some Blue lopes were Difficult, but we got used to them and enjoyed it. The village Wenns is very Quiet (some say dull) and our hotel Alpina wellness was great

• A super ski resort. I had a great experience here. Good routes for skiing which are well kept. I love how all the routes end in the middle at the restaurant so you always knkw where you are. Very much recommended for families and beginners. I shall be returning next year for sure.

• Mountains are always so magestic and beautiful. Its a pity, that I got a serious injure there at Hochzeiger - ligament rupture. It happened, when I was skiing on an uncleared piste after a heavy snowfall. What is worse, I was not the only one from our group, who got an injure. I think the administration should care more about good conditions on a piste.

• Some black and red marked slopes were not egalized and not safe for fast downhill, also the small stones are not pleasant on the surface. Central slopes and fun park were good prepared the whole day. Less people and safe skiing !

• Very fun place to ski,, enough space to wave around without hitting people and also enough space to go off piste if that what you want to do,, most people are friendly and just take a big turn around you if you are flower so you don’t have any problems with maybe hitting someone on your way down. Would recommend going here.
