Connecticut

CONNECTICUT CE REQUIREMENTS Twenty-four (24) CE credit hours are required for all resident individual Producers that hold standard line(s) of authority.  They must be completed prior to your expiration date. The 24 credit hours must include a minimum of six (6) credit hours per category for  each line of authority and at least three (3) must cover Connecticut insurance Law and Regulations or Ethics  (All or our Ethics courses meet this requirement). Licensees who hold the Property/Casualty or Personal Lines authority are required to complete a one-time three (3) credit hour course on Federal Flood requirements (our course FUNDAMENTALS OF FEMA FLOOD INSURANCE meets this requirement).

Florida

FLORIDA CE REQUIREMENTS Florida producers must complete 24 hours of CE each renewal cycle.  Five of these hours must be a FLORIDA ETHICS course specific to the producer's  license type. Hawaii

HAWAII CE REQUIREMENTS If you have a life/health/sickness license only, you must take 21 hours of courses approved for your license type, plus three hours of Ethics. If you have a property/casualty license only, you must take 21 hours of courses approved for your license type, plus three hours of Ethics. If you have BOTH life/health sickness and P&C licenses, you must take 10 hour of life/health sickness courses, 11 hours of property casualty courses, and three hours of ethics.

Effective January 1, 2020, an insurance producer shall complete required continuing education not later than 15 days before the expiration date of the insurance producer’s license. Additionally, effective January 1, 2020, pursuant to new § 10-408(e)(2), a public adjuster shall complete the required continuing education not later than 30 days before the expiration date of the public adjuster’s license.

North Carolina

All resident adjusters (company/independent, public and self-employed), non-resident adjusters with North Carolina CE requirements, Property agents, and Personal Lines agents shall complete a flood course in the initial biennial compliance period and every other biennial period thereafter. The course or courses shall comprise three CE credit hours.

CONTINUING EDUCATION 56-6- 107, unless otherwise exempt, must satisfactorily complete twenty-four (24) credit hours of study in approved courses, programs of instruction or seminars in conjunction with the license renewal cycle.
