To note, it only works with Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0. Image Resizer is meant for the basic resizing and slight modifying of images, which works with programs like the Windows Photos app or Microsoft Paint. This is in addition to the varied collection of devices, programs, and tools to shape and wield images offered by Microsoft to their users. However, Image Resizer is fairly primitive when putting against other image editors. Image Resize isn't meant to be a true photo editor. As the name says, it is meant solely for resizing images. But from that perspective, it is very easy to use and works very fast. Once you have downloaded the program on your computer, you simply need to right-click images directly from Windows Explorer or File Explorer and select the "resize pictures" option that will then appear in the pop-up menu for your images. This action will open the primary interface of Image Resizer, which will expose the four main pre-set sizes (small, medium, large, and mobile) plus the ability to resize an image to your personal dimensions. The custom option grants the user the ability to adjust pictures or expand them as is desired. Image Resizer for Windows allows the user to set custom settings for automatic future use. Once the user is done modifying the image, the program saves the adjusted image to the same file or directory as the original image. It also allows the user to overwrite the original image with the modified version if both are not needed. The only other "preferences" included in Image Resizer is the ability to "only shrink pictures," which mutes the ability to enlarge an image if the original resolution is less than the revised image. You can also set the program to "ignore picture rotations." There seems to be an advanced option that may be available for use in the future. When you try to access it, you receive a "coming soon" message, but it does indicate the future ability to edit default sizes, change the JPEG quality, minimize file size, and custom name saved files.
