When you collect large amounts of quantitative data, it is useful to report mean scores, standard deviations, number of participants, and the standard error of the mean (SEM). SEM measures the reliability or precision of the results. For example, a high SEM value for a specific task may require additional research. In the example below, we can see that there is consensus among participants about the first four tasks but there is a low mean score about expectation management for visitor waiting time. This may indicate that this is not seen as part of the core role. ImpactAn essential last step is the realization of the intended impact of the job analysis. This is referred to as consequential validity.
